Anna doesn't protect something IN children. She protects something every child NEEDS; Unconditional love. She makes sure every child has someone that loves them with no limits in the form of the creatures of the world. She has a link to animals so that they understand her and treat her like their own. That link makes it so that she's only invisible to the humans.
Anna died as a starving orphan with no love, yet being an innocent child, she stlll gave love to others until the very end. The other Guardians only know her know her because she visits Bunnymund frequently. She is determined to find some animal link with the giant rabbit-like Pooka. (She is an unofficial Guardian.)

Personality: Sweet, hyper and persistant. She is a pacifist, but the animals protect her if she is in danger. Anna loves sweets, the outdoors, and especially loves music.
